Whether by delivering gift bags like the ones given to celebrities at the Academy Awards, or by providing tickets to a red carpet premiere complete with a makeover, a shopping spree, and limousine transportation throughout the day, the Foundation strives to bring joy to the lives of our beneficiaries and their families and offset the fear and anxiety that often times accompanies their illness.

For the past seven years, the Red Carpet Foundation has allowed children facing extraordinary medical challenges the exciting opportunity to attend a red carpet event with their family and friends. This year we are hoping to expand our mission so that we bring the excitement and glamour of the red carpet directly to our beneficiaries hospital beds. “Giftbags for the Kids” is a tentative title for a program that we are developing designed to lift the spirits of young people who live in hospitals by offering them giftbags similar to the ones traditionally given to celebrities and presenters at awards shows such as the Oscars and the Golden Globes. The giftbags will be age appropriate and designed to fit the needs of individuals living in hospitals.
